Let’s get Hamilton back on track
ELECT
PATPIRO
Councillor Ward 8
A campaign for Hamilton’s West Mountain: fix the roads and infrastructure we use every day, watch the city budget, and bring common sense back to City Hall.

The plan
Three commitments on every lawn sign
This is the whole platform. If you send Pat to City Hall, this is what he will be accountable for.
01
Improve Infrastructure
Ward 8 sits on the Mountain, split by the Linc, with roads, sidewalks, and local amenities that residents use every day. Pat will push for practical repairs and maintenance people can see and feel — not just announcements from downtown.
02
Control Spending
Households across the West Mountain already budget carefully. City Hall should too. Pat will ask hard questions about new spending, look for waste, and support a city budget that respects taxpayers.
03
Common Sense Politics
Less theatre, more results. Listen to Ward 8 first, show up in the neighbourhoods, and vote in a way that matches how people on the Mountain actually live. That is the job.
Meet the candidate
For the neighbourhoods on the Mountain
Pat Piro is a candidate for Hamilton City Council in Ward 8 in the 2026 municipal election. He is asking neighbours across the West and Central Mountain to send someone to City Hall who will keep it simple: infrastructure, spending, and common sense.
Ward 8 is an urban ward on the Niagara Escarpment, bordered by the hydro corridor, Upper Wellington Street, and Garth Street, and divided by the Lincoln M. Alexander Parkway. It is home to Mohawk College, Chedoke Hospital, and the Chedoke Rail Trail — and to families who want a city that works.
Election Day is Monday, October 26, 2026. Advance polls run through October.
